We currently see dogs and cats, a desire to work with other small animal species will be encouraged and supported.
- Provide patients with a high level of care while thoroughly working up cases using your diagnostic skills.
- Performing elective and non-elective surgical and dental procedures.
- Keeping up to date medical records using Cornerstone software.
- Working with and leading our team of technicians and assistants.
To be successful in this role you will need: - A good work ethic and the ability to work both as part of a team and individually.
- Possess strong communication skills, with a specialized focus working with our clients to provide the best care possible for their pets.
- Excellent medical and surgical knowledge, along with the examination and technical skills required to care for our patients.
- A commitment to serve our clients, patients, and fellow team members.
- Be organized and work well with a busy caseload.
- The ability the maintain up to date medical records.
As a part of our team in this associate veterinarian role, here is how you can expect to be compensated: - $80,000 ProSal guaranteed base salary with 20% production

About Us--And Why You Want to Join Our Awesome Practice Douglas Oaks Animal Hospital currently is a 2, going on 2.5-3 doctor small animal practice that is responsible for taking great care of our patients, clients, each other, and our hospital. We are focused on preventive care using thorough examinations and diagnostics to ensure our patients are healthy and comfortable. We do what we can do well and refer to specialists when that is what is best for the patient. We have a good team of assistants. We try to practice “by the book”. Learning and CE are important to us. Our building has 2 exam rooms and an office shared by Dr’s, bookkeeper, and practice manager. We have a digital x-ray machine; complete Idexx in house laboratory; high-speed dental equipment; fluid pumps; heating pads; surgical lighting. Our focus is on the comfort and safety of our patients.
