About you

Positive attitude
Team and goal-oriented
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
Experience with soft tissue surgery and oral surgery (dentistry)
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed.
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with an upbeat, friendly attitude.
The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
Respect for and willingness to work with pets and pet parents.
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics

About this role

Wagly Veterinarians’ top priority is focusing on the pet’s quality of care and ensuring our goal of exceptional service and education for the pet parent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Focus on exceptional team member and client interactions; develop a rapport with pets and pet parents and determine their needs focusing on all of our Wagly services; perform physical examinations, diagnostics, medical, surgical and dental procedures while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols; assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of the patient.
Focus on continuing education on the latest medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
Positively represent Wagly in the professional community and to the general public.
