Sunday Relief GP Veterinarian in Wayne, NJ

Packanack Animal Hospital is seeking a consistent relief doctor to join us on Sundays. We are a bustling 3.5 doctor practice in Wayne, NJ.  We are a well-established and general practice with a wonderful clientele. We have a dedicated staff who provide excellent medical care in a positive and collaborative work environment. 

The ideal candidate is an independent, friendly veterinarian who is available Sundays (maybe some Saturdays if interested) to provide top-quality medical care and client service. You will be a key member of our collaborative team that consists of experienced veterinary technicians and assistants, front desk staff, and a practice manager. We are looking for someone who can do appointments on some Sundays, 9am-3pm. 

It is important you have the tools and equipment needed to practice excellent veterinary medicine. Our practice has: 

• Full surgery suite with multiparameter monitoring equipment
• Digital x-ray (with option to send out for radiologist review when needed)
• Ultrasound 
• Antech reference lab and inhouse lab (Abaxis machines)
• Fully integrated electronic medical records (AVIMark)
• Dental x-ray, dental unit, adjustable dental table
• Nearby specialty hospitals for referrals, transfers, emergencies and consultations
• Mobile specialists available (boarded internal medicine specialist and surgeon) for full ultrasounds, echos and orthopedic procedures when needed
• Client app (PetDesk) with telehealth option if needed for clients to access the practice in various ways -- to free up your time and the staff's time so we focus on the patients and matter at hand
