Valley Walk Animal Hospital in Taylors, South Carolina is a rapidly growing, privately owned by a MS State CVM alum, small/mixed animal practice seeking either a part-time or full-time Associate Veterinarian - open to discuss. Valley Walk Animal Hospital is well-established with strong community ties and the absolute best clients around. We are located in a peaceful setting on almost 10 acres in the beautiful Upstate of South Carolina - just minutes away from downtown Greenville, GSP Airport, and the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Our hospital is an excellent place to learn and grow and we encourage new graduates, as well as those with experience, to apply. We focus on client communication, education, and follow-up to ensure understanding and consistency.

Salary is competitive and negotiable - range listed is base salary. Comprehensive benefits package available, paid time off, holidays, short/long term disability insurances.
Valley Walk Animal Hospital is open Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 5:30PM

Qualifications and Skills:
A passion for client education and a high standard for individualized patient care
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
South Carolina Licensure - we can assist
Continuing Education annually
Experience with dental care: restorative and preventive - or ability to learn
Familiarity with digital X-ray - or ability to learn
Core understanding of nutritional management of disease with prescription foods
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift up to 50lbs
Clinical experience or a willingness to be mentored in the following areas; Dermatology, Preventative Medicine, Dentistry, Clinical Pathology, Cytology, Ovariohysterectomy (OVH), Neuter, Management of Addison’s Disease & Cushing, Histopathology, Urolith removal by Cystotomy, Gastropexy, Enterotomy, Mass Excision, Soft Palate Nares, Orthopedics (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) and Fracture Repair, Abdominal Exploratory Surgery, Euthanasia, Soft-tissue Surgery, Feline Hyperthyroidism, Canine Hypothyroidism, Early detection and care for Renal Failure
