Full time doctors will have a 4 day work week and no weekends. We offer competitive compensation that is commensurate with experience. Practice Overview
Downtown Greensboro Animal Hospital has been proudly serving downtown Greensboro and surrounding communities since 2013. We are a well established small animal & exotics hospital and are looking to grow our practice. We are uniquely located in the business district of downtown in an urban and pedestrian friendly area. Our hospital is adjacent to several desirable neighborhoods of Greensboro including Fisher Park, Old Irving Park and Westerwood. We foster an environment of teamwork and education. Our desire is to make sure that all of our employees are equipped to perform to their fullest potential. Our expectations would be that your time here is fulfilling as you work to build long lasting client/patient relationships through compassionate veterinary medicine. Our state-of-the-art facility offers digital radiology, dental X-rays, ultrasounds, laser therapy, EKG, out-patient surgery, in-patient surgery, in-house lab, well-stocked pharmacy and more.

Job Responsibilities
- Builds a rapport with clients
- Communicates with clients & educates them on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, nutritional needs and preventative treatment
- Performs physical exams and diagnostic-surgical-medical and dental procedures that delivers the highest quality care
- Stays current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
- Maintains client-patient medical/surgical records
- Assists in the development of our team to ensure the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree
- Licensure in good standing
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
- Commitment to ongoing educational growth & willingness to try new things
- Interest to work with exotic mammals and birds
