Orange County NC Animal Services is looking for a passionate vet assistant, nurse or RVT to join our team.

The work involves intake physical evaluations, blood draw, heartworm testing, vaccines, HQHV surgery preparation and anesthesia. Monitor and evaluate individual animal health as well as overall herd/population health.  Maintain schedule drug log and electronic medial records. Ability to become certified rabies vaccinator and certified euthanasia technician.  Work as part of a team and support the shelter veterinarian with animal health.
