Animal Care Daybreak is a 10,000 sq ft hospital (built in 2019), nestled in the heart of the Daybreak community in South Jordan, Utah. Daybreak is a Master-Planned community of over 4k acres, with many parks, amenities, restaurants, and schools. We are a 30-minute drive to Salt Lake City proper, 30 minutes to the International Airport, and 45 minutes from world-renowned skiing in the Wasatch Mountains. With several restaurants within walking distance of the clinic, you will never be far from food and drinks.
We are a state-of-the-art veterinary facility offering:
- Small Animal care Monday through Friday
- Exotic Animal care Friday through Monday
- AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) Accredited
- Mentorship with Dr. Pam Nichols – Immediate Past AAHA President
- Drop off Appointments
- Staff Ratio minimum 2 Nurses/assistants per DVM per day, usually more
- Wellness/Preventative Care as well as Sick/Urgent Care Visits
- Telemedicine Available – only if you want to!
- Cat and Dog specific wards
- 2 Fully Furnished Surgical Suites, including a CO2 Surgical Laser
- Laparoscopic Surgery, with training!
- Idexx In House Chemistry/CBC/Sedivue, Idexx Reference Laboratory
- Digital Radiographs and Digital Dental Radiographs
- 1 Traditional Ultrasound and 1 Mobile/iPad Ultrasound
- Exotic Department
- Rehab Department with Dedicated Nurse
- Underwater treadmill, Laser Therapy, Shockwave Therapy, Thera-plate
- Couch Room, multiple certified staff, gabapentin on hand at all times
We have an opportunity to grow by up to 2 Full Time Veterinarians to our team, whether you are interested in Small Animals only, or if you are interested in Exotics or Exotic Mentorship. There are no on-call or emergency hours, so work-life balance is protected. Benefits Include:
- We cover up to $400 each month for your monthly insurance premium, we currently partner with Select Health and EMI (dental and vision)
- Continuing Education expenses negotiable
- DVM License renewal fees, AAHA membership, DEA license renewal fees, USDA accreditation fees
