Animal Care Center in Danville, PA is seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We are a busy, full-service animal hospital with a team of experienced veterinary professionals dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostics/medical/surgical/dental procedures in a manner that supports the highest possible quality of care for our patients.
• Provide clients with education on preventive care, including vaccinations and heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
• Work with a team of veterinary technicians and assistants to provide exceptional patient care and client communication.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records
• Assist in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures
• Communicate with referring veterinarians and specialists needed to proved the best possible care for our patients.

Qualifications:

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited university.
• Pennsylvania State Veterinary Board License in good standing or eligibility to become licensed in PA.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a tam environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Compassionate, caring. and respectful attitude towards animals and clients.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and some holidays.
• Experience with Cornerstone software a plus, but not necessary
