We are known as the River City. The James River Park System covers over 550 acres of shorelines and islands offers much to do, including class IV rapids for an eighth of a mile. We have all the amenities of larger cities, for half the price. The weather is downright agreeable, we get all four seasons and the weather will rarely get in your way.

Virginia Veterinary Centers is growing again, and we are interested in speaking with experienced ER DVMs, internship trained DVMs, and new grads or GP DVMs who have an interest in emergency medicine. ER Mentorship is available!

Our hospital works together to deliver high quality medicine in a casual atmosphere. Our current referral services include boarded specialists in: Surgery, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, and Dentistry. Our facilities offer CT, radioactive iodine therapy, and minimally invasive surgery. We are fully equipped for Critical Care including a new ventilator.
