Do you love chihuahuas and their little land shark attitudes? Are pug nail trims your jam? Nothing you like better than yeasty beagle ears? We are NOT the clinic for you. Stop reading now. Want to talk all day about inappropriate urination, hyperthyroidism, CKD Iris staging, GI lymphoma vs IBD, and not teaching kittens to play with hands? Do you get all geeky about dental radiographs and just how hard you should work to take out that ankylosed tooth? Do you have your own special way of treating diabetic cats and getting them into remission? Welcome, you have found your people!
Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic is looking for a full time Veterinarian to join our feline specialty practice. We strive to provide the gold standard of feline care to all our patients. Our paperless clinic has a full surgical suite, dedicated dental suite with digital radiographs, in clinic abdominal ultrasound services, a traveling board certified cardiologist who visits regularly, an ABVP feline specialist on staff, digital radiographs in house, Tonopen, rhinoscope, in house Idexx labs, and a dedicated fecal blender for all your transplant needs.
Our enthusiastic staff passionately cares for their patients. Our team requires the best from themselves and each other (we can be a bit intense and are distinctly feline in nature). Our clinic motto is “we are here for the cats.” That is our north star. Is this the best thing for this cat? How can we advocate for that? How can we educate our clients to provide that care at home as well? Our clients have come to expect specialty level care from us and we expect to provide it. This means communication, recommending best practices, and comprehensive case handling / sharing are hallmarks of our clinic. 90% of our team is Fear Free Certified and our clinic is a Gold level Cat Friendly Practice.
Wellbeing is much more than a buzzword to us. We actively support our entire team in creating work life boundaries, our hospital manager does regular team resiliency training, and we do not tolerate toxicity from our staff or clients. All of our Covid protocols have been based on the comfort and safety needs of our staff. We encourage (and provide time and resources for) our doctors and staff to continuously grow, learn, and help push our hospital to the next level.
We welcome new grads, established doctors, feline specialists, and generalists who want more cat medicine in their lives to apply. Veterinarians with a passion for cats and their people will flourish here.
Benefits include superior salary, medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, and so much more.
