Town ‘n’ Country Animal Hospital in Burlington NC is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our AAHA- Accredited, Fear Free Certified multi-location small animal practice. We are a full service, 4 doctor practice helping people care for their pets with individualized medicine that addresses our patient’s physical and mental well-being. We are seeking another veterinarian to help us broaden our time for quality medical and surgical work-ups and strengthen our client communication. Our dedicated staff boasts advanced training and experience, allowing our veterinarians to focus on diagnosing, prescribing and performing surgery. Our core team members that join us stay long term. Our facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment, including digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, LED lit high speed dental handpieces, full in-house Idexx laboratory including multiple Catalyst machines and Sedivue, Samsung ultrasound, orthopedic surgical equipment (saws, drills, and plates). If there is a technology you want to use that we don’t have, we can purchase it.

We are looking for veterinarians that are passionate about their career in veterinary medicine; who are proud to serve their patients and clients and develop long relationships with their teammates and clients. Our candidates should have or be willing to develop an excellent bedside manner and communication skill set, while integrating Fear Free Practice techniques. We have practitioners who are well versed in medicine and surgery, so we are not specifically pursuing one or the other. We welcome the skills our new vet brings to the table and will incorporate those into our practice.

Experienced veterinarians or new graduates are encouraged to apply. We believe in a healthy life/work balance that shows in our work schedule (4 day work weeks with 32-36 hours/wk). No in-person emergency call.
