For 40 years, Dr. Rick Moore and the Staff at Animal Medical Center have been a cornerstone in Cartersville's veterinary community. A proud AHAA accredited, small animal practice for 36 years, Cartersville Animal Medical Center stands as both family-oriented and independent.
We pride ourselves on being a well-equipped, progressive medical and surgical practice. In addition to routine services, we offer consultations and services for complicated medical and surgical cases, trauma, orthopedics, and oncology. We're recognized for our relationship-driven approach that consistently ensures outstanding patient care, strong client relations, and the well-being of our devoted team. Our close-knit, cheerful team members have a special bond with each other and enjoy time together outside of the practice.
Who We Are:
We are a family owned, small, team-oriented animal practice looking for an Associate Veterinarian that is dedicated, energetic and excited to be a part of the veterinary profession. We are passionate about veterinary medicine and we are always looking for better ways to serve our clients and patients. We have the energy and willingness to implement new ideas and are looking for the right associate to partner with us, and help guide and lead our practice into the future.
Many young veterinarians are just looking for a job, but we know first-hand through years of successful practice ownership, that the opportunity to learn leadership and management skills, along with one-on-one professional mentorship, makes good business sense for prosperity and growth.
We understand that practice isn’t perfect, and that we are in the midst of many changes and challenges in the veterinary community. We have enough experience to know when we can bend, to make the best decisions for our patients and clients, without having to go by a scripted treatment plan. Our goals are to concentrate on good, affordable medicine for our clients and patients and to continue to build relationships in our community.
We have close relationships with two other practices in our community, Westside Animal Hospital and Cartersville Animal Hospital. These practices were once owned and managed by Dr. Moore and over time were sold to the veterinarians working those practices. Our personal and professional relationships have remained strong through the years and we regularly share and collaborate with each other in areas of medicine and practice ownership.
