The Alto Tiburon Veterinary Hospital is interviewing for the position of veterinarian.

Full time veterinarian position open for graduates of a Matching Program Internship in small animal medicine and surgery from  accredited veterinary colleges in the US or Canada or the selected institutions listed below.

We are a very progressive small animal hospital and are looking for a veterinary professional that would like to continue to learn more and have a great career.

We shall start interviews in July and go through August.  

We shall require interviews and CVs with at least 3 professional references preferably from two supervisors from the internship and one from veterinary college.

All of the fully accredited veterinary teaching hospitals in the US, Canada, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa will be considered as long as they have an established Matching Program Internship in small animal medicine and surgery.  Also such institutions as the AMC in NYC and Angell in Boston and other strong training mentored programs.

Graduate of an accredited veterinary college.

Completed a one year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. 

An internship completed in good standing from a veterinary college in the US, Canada or Western Europe and the UK with full reciprocity with the United States.  Other internships may be acceptable from long established powerful programs such as the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, Angell Animal Medical Center, Veterinary Specialty Center in San Diego, and others

Progressive small animal hospital. We have both Idexx and Antech lab functions, full in house suite of CBC, catalysts, urine, digital cytology, coags, digital rads, 3 ultrasounds two new with convex heads and high detail heads on both, CT scan, AIS, Vetmedstat, specialists come in for endoscopy, US, cardiology, surgery and reads on all radiographs, CT scans, US, Echos. Staffing to allow capture of all above and training to be able to do echos. Working on set up for rapid blood product use. Forgot to add we are moving into a state of the art purpose built building in 3-6 months with views of Mt Tam and all Olympic surgery and dental tables throughout the first and second floors where CT can move through the elevator where needed.
