In addition to a standard Continuing Education (CE) allowance, the hospital is committed to covering the costs for extra training, including specialized areas like acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) (Dry needling, food therapy, Herbal medicine), surgeries (TPLO, Perineal urethrostomy, lateral imbrications, MPL Surgeries, FHO surgeries, C-Sections), CT imaging (Dental CT imaging, metastasis checks, surgical planning), and ultrasounds. Tama Veterinary Hospital is a small animal hospital that provides comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services to the Milpitas and surrounding Bay Area communities. We are a fully accredited AAHA facility and have won the BEST OF MILPITAS Award for TEN years in a row! Currently, our Five-doctor full-service clinical practice with varied caseloads provides personalized service, convenience, and individualized care for family pets. Our practice shows real commitment to humane issues. We support local organizations including Furry Friends Rescue (Companion animal rescue) and Muttville (Senior/Hospice Rescue) which we routinely handle medical and surgical cases for these groups. Our team is committed to developing plans and solutions that meet the needs of our staff, our patients, their families, and the community.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of California
- A minimum of one year of experience preferred, but new grads encouraged to apply.
- Routine dentistry, and general wellness care experience required
- Advanced surgical skills required
- Experience working with ultrasound imaging equipment preferred
- Highly motivated, with a desire to lead our amazing team
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
