We are looking for an associate veterinarian to join our amazing team at High Ridge Animal Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut! We encourage veterinarians of all experience levels to apply!
We are currently a small animal practice, and are open to a candidate’s special interests (avian, exotics, wildlife, behavior…create your own path with us!) Our full-time veterinarian schedule is flexible - no on call requirements and are now closed on Saturdays.
As a very close-knit group, our team is supported by a long tenured and highly skilled staff. We all come together to work with a wonderful local rescue, Red Leash Rescue, which specifically finds home for older, typically hospice, patients. We also have a close working relationship with many different specialists in the area that help us provide truly exceptional care.
Stamford is considered part of the Gold Coast, Connecticut as well as a New York City metro area. We have wonderful and easy access to all the culture and excitement of NYC without needing to live there. We also have easy access to beaches, hiking and horseback riding in the area. Stamford itself is a medium sized city with amazing restaurants and ample activities for all ages. We have some of the best public schools in the country and we are a great place for families!
The emotional and physical well-being of our employees is very important to us. We offer a competitive salary, sign on bonus, medical benefits (including health, dental, and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, mentorship and so much more.
Our practice has a positive, well-being-focused culture that we’d love to tell you about. We prioritize family, work-life balance, and teamwork while providing excellent medicine. Get the conversation started by applying today!
