Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a regional locum DVM to serve three small animal + exotics hospitals in Tucson, Arizona. All locations are within 15 miles of each other (less than 30 minutes apart).
This is a full-time relief position (flexible four-day work week, Monday-Saturday) that is perfect for doctors who easily connect with diverse teams and would find fulfillment having a dynamic caseload.
Background and experience:
Must be a licensed DVM (or the ability to become licensed) in Arizona
Ability to easily adapt to each hospital’s culture/needs
Must have strong communication skills
5+ years of hands-on clinical experience
Experience with exotics is strongly preferred
Our Tucson hospitals:
Vary between 2- and 3-doctor clinics
All three locations see small animals and exotic pets
Most surgery procedures are routine soft tissue
Team size ranges from 10-20 staff members
All locations have multiple CVTS
All clinics have digital radiology and digital dental radiographs
Two practices are AAHA-Accredited, and one is Fear Free Certified
Additional services at select locations include acupuncture, laser therapy, and ultrasound
Hours vary at all locations (7:30/8am start through a 5/6pm close on weekdays; shortened Saturday hours)
