If you are a veterinarian looking to break away from the traditional model of rushed, over-booked, one-size-fits-all appointments apply to All 4 Paws Animal Hospital today! I started All 4 Paws because I was tired of having 10 minutes or less to spend in rooms with my clients and patients and wanted a place where I could ensure the comfort of the pet was a priority as well as the staff's quality of life. It is so easy to burnout in this career from the emotional, mental, and physical strain, so if you want a consistent day off every week, work only 35-40 hours a week, have longer appointment times so you have the time to get to know your patients and clients and ensure the best care, have time for a life outside of work as you only work from 9am-1pm one Saturday a month and very rarely work late, get an hour lunch break every day, want to be valued for your strengths, and work at a place that is happy for feedback to create the best work environment for you, then we're for you. At our practice we never overbook and your appointment time for wellness and sick visits is 40 minutes and 20 minutes for rechecks so you have plenty of time to do a thorough job and still have time to finish your record before moving on to the next room. Communication is also key to a well run hospital so we have daily team meetings and exceptional client communication. We're a small clinic so we don't board but we still pack a lot into our place to provide the highest quality of care - I have tabletop DR radiography, a portable dental radiography unit, an ultrasound, full in-house lab equipment, and an ultrasonic scaler and polisher. We use the highest quality vaccines, use Feliway and Adaptil in the rooms, and I am happy to carry whatever products and drugs you prefer if I don't already have them in stock. There are multiple referral and 24/7 ER clinics in the area so no animal stays in hospital alone overnight, they are transferred for overnight care, and if a pet needs a cardiologist, neurologist, behaviorist, internist, etc. there's several within 20 miles. What I am looking for is the right fit - someone who matches our culture and cares about their team mates, patients, and clients. Ideally that person would have at least 1 years' experience and be full-time but I'm open to whatever the right person can offer. For full time, your schedule would be Mondays 8am-7pm, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 8:15am-6pm, and the second Saturday of the month from 9am-1pm with an hour lunch break all weekdays. For part time, I ideally would have someone who works at least 2 days a week - ideally Monday and Thursday. We currently only service dogs and cats but if you would like to see exotics too I'm open to whatever will make you happy. To learn more about our hospital, just visit our website: www.ApexVetHospital.com. Full-time Benefits: • $3,000 in cash each year to cover cost of CE, veterinary licenses, liability insurance, uniforms, etc • VIN access • 3 paid days off for CE • 1 week of paid-time off to start along with paid holidays (including the week we are closed from Christmas to New Year’s). I will be offering health and retirement benefits in the future. If you're looking for a slower paced clinic where you will have the time to foster a relationship with patients and clients and will actually love coming to work every day, then submit your resume AND cover letter (telling us why you would be a good fit for our team) via email to Dr. Emily Dorsett at neighborhoodvet@gmail.com. |
